Kundalini Yoga…

is a very specific kind of Yoga.  

In Kundalini we set the container and hold the space to activate and move up and out energy that no longer serves us.  

We work specifically with the chakras.  Activating each chakra through postures.  The Chakras – are 7 systems of energy in our body that  live up the center of the body.  They are connected to physical body parts, specific emotions, and even specific times of development in our lives.  

By activating and balancing the chakras we can release energy that no longer serves us.   Which can heal us emotionally and physically.  

We also tap into the lymphatic, glandular, and nervous systems to carry this energy out of the body.  We tap into these internal systems through breath-work, mantra, movement, meditation and even stillness.

THE EXPERIENCE:  You may find that the actual poses are not challenging or difficult at first.  The work comes in with the repetition, the holding, and the specific tiny details within the postures.  

You may experience tingling, heat, emotions, and you may feel nothing at all; that does not mean that it is not working.
